Touch-A-Life Foundation, an Indian American-led non-profit organization that supports homeless students across the San Francisco Bay Area, hosted its first annual fundraising event Dec. 22. Over 300 people attended and together raised almost $20,000, which will be used to alleviate the hardships homeless students face and provide them the support they need to continue their education.

The inaugural fundraising event took place from 6pm to 10pm on Friday, December 22 at the Quinlan Community Center in Cupertino, featuring teens’ performances, art exhibitions, photography auction, inspirational speeches, and live music. Created by kids, for kids less fortunate, it had more than 300 participants and raised successfully around $20K.

Touch-A-Life Foundation, a non-profit organization to support homeless students, hosted a successful fundraising event on December 22, 2017 to benefit homeless students across the bay area. Backpacks, clothing, sanitation kits, and school supplies were provided to students in need through the McKinney-Vento/Foster Care program liaisons at the local school districts.
